The Tax Administration audits restaurant and healthcare companies

The Tax Administration will especially audit companies operating in the restaurant and health care industry as well as other industries exempt from value added tax, such as the financial- and insurance industry. The audits aim to ensure that all sales are reported, that the VAT handling is correct, that the payroll reporting is correct and that undeclared labor does not occur. Furthermore, the Tax Administration will pay attention to corporate arrangements around ownership and transactions between the company and the company’s related parties (the owners, management and relatives). Always notify your accountant if you receive inquiries, requests for investigations or notices of tax audits.
